As a Christian organization, Missions Alive makes a determined effort to saturate its ministry in the Biblical principles of Prayer. Daily staff prayer meetings are held to focus on the many blessings and needs that are evident in our missions' ministry. Additionally, we focus on the ministry needs of other mission organizations, various missionaries, and the needs of our supporting congregations and organizations. We regularly include in our prayer time specific prayer requests for those participating in the annual National Missionary Convention.

It is our intention, to motivate our staff to follow the Biblical directive to "Pray without ceasing" as a lifestyle. On an occasion when immediate needs are brought to our attention, our staff, as well as visitors to our offices, are invited to pause and pray for these specific needs. Missions alive has continued to keep a prayer journal as a reminder of God's faithfulness in meeting needs as his people join together in supplication. Filtered prayer requests are published on our mission website.

Individuals and churches who support us and our ministries receive personal letters of appreciation updating them on Missions Alive news which includes the many ways that God is answering prayers on our behalf and asking them to continue praying for our ministry.

In the process of developing new ministry partners, among churches and individuals, as well as corporate and grant sponsors, they are encouraged to become Prayer Warriors and financial supporters.

Individually and as an organization we believe that "without prayer, we can do nothing."
