2005 CONVENTION WEDNESDAY, NOV. 16 Nitty-Gritty for Missionaries and MK Day--6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Ministers of Missions THURSDAY, NOV. 17 Exhibit move-in: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Nitty-Gritty for Missionaries and MK Day--8:30 a.m. to noon Ministers of Missions meeting: 8:30 a.m. to noon Mission Professors meeting: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Visit exhibits (Exhibits are actually open from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. although everybody will be encouraged to attend the main session. On Friday and Saturday they will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to noon.) 6:45 p.m. Opening main session: Saafa Fahmi, Egypt, "Christians As One In Christ" 8:30 - 11:00 p.m.--Visit exhibits FRIDAY, NOV. 18 7:15 a.m. Breakfast with the missionaries 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.: Workshops 10:30 a.m. Main Session: Stephen Prophete, Haiti, "Christians As Suffering Saints" (plus 10 minute presentation by Phil Hudson on "The Church's Finest Hour"--the opportunities to lead people to the light are greater than they have ever been and another 10 minute presentation by one more speaker) 12:00 noon: Lunch with the missionaries 2:00 p.m.: Workshops 3:00 p.m.--Visit workshops 4:00 p.m.--Workshops 6:45 p.m., Main Session: Rajan Ipe, India, "Christians As Shining Stars" 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.--Visit exhibits 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.--Late night college "coffee house" SATURDAY, NOV. 19 7:15 a.m.: Breakfast with the Missionaries 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.--Workshops 10:30 a.m. Main Session: Dennis Bratton, Florida, "Christians As Blameless Servants"; (plus 10 minute presentations by Saleem Massey on "Christian Witness in the Muslim World" and by Rick Wolford on "Witnessing through meeting the needs of the people.") 12:00 noon: Lunch with the missionaries 2:00 p.m.--Workshops 3:00 p.m.--Visit exhibits 3:30 p.m.--Ladies' Tea 4:00 p.m.--Workshops 6:45 p.m., Main Session: Steve Hooks, Georgia, "Casting Seed On Hard Soil"; 8:30 p.m.--Visit exhibits SUNDAY, NOV. 20 7:15 a.m.--Breakfast with the missionaries 9:00 a.m.--Workshops 10:30 a.m., Combined closing service: Ken Idleman, Missouri, "Christians as Overcomers". 12:00 noon: Exhibit move out. | . |
